2005 - Delicate Arch (Arches National Park)

Delicate Arch is a freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. It is the most widely-recognized landmark in Arches National Park and is depicted on the Utah license plate.

The Delicate Arch is located at the end of a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) hiking trail from the parking area at Wolfe Ranch. The Arch is completely hidden from view on this trail, so it's a great experience to see the arch after the long walk. You can not cycle across this trail. You'll have to park your bicycles at Wolfe Ranch. Near the start of start of the trail there are also some rock drawings.
